High Strangeness is a magazine featuring art, writing and articles for an audience who is into horror that's surreal and unsettling. The content isn't about gore or cheap scares, its goal is to intrigue you—haunt you.

A friend, who's a practicing witch, began making candles with specific intentions in mind, using ingredients that reflected them in magic lore. They wanted branding to go with the candles to potentially sell them in local stores so I worked with them to make this possible. The logos have a distinct style and chock-full of symbology.

VAIN Rebranding

  • Branding
  • Illustration
  • Print Design
  • Visual Design

VAIN is a hair salon with a history in Seattle that began in the grungy time period known as the 90s. It embraces bold choices for people's hair styles, offering cutting-edge cuts and coloring. This rebrand gives it a fresh new look that invokes both the 90s and contemporary aesthetics, with a mural to illustrate coming out of your old skin.
